The 2013 Banquet and Conference focussed on the Network's mission to inspire, advance, and support excellence in education.  We were delighted to have Dr. Deborah Loewenberg Ball, Dean of the School of Education at the University of Michigan keynote the banquet with her presentation on "Building the Teaching Profession, a National Imperative."  Dr. Ball's talk was followed by the recognition of the Network's newest members along with the 2013 Teachers of Promise.

The conference was highlighted by a keynote address from State Superintendent Mike Flanagan who kept the Network current on topics of statewide interest.  The conference also featured a mix of breakout sessions and pithy presentations from Network members Don Pata, Gary Abud, Jr., Brian Langley, and Nancy Flanagan.
